Get the Assistance You Need From Start to Finish

Outside of buying the home itself, the most important decision you’ll make when house hunting is selecting the person who will represent you in the search.

My primary focus is to support you throughout the process and to find the right home with the best possible terms. I’ll keep you fully informed regarding all the various activities that need to happen and familiarize you with the documents and procedures you will encounter.

From showing, to escrow, to moving in, allow me to be your premier choice in the search for your new home.

How to Select a Realtor and Get the Best Results

When you’re deciding on a Realtor, you want to be sure you get a true professional.

  • Knowledgeable about the communities you’re interested in
  • Aware of the complicated local and state regulations that affect your transaction
  • Experienced and effective in multiparty, face-to-face negotiations
  • Highly-trained with access to programs for continued learning and additional certifications
  • Comfortable with and focused on technology that works for your search
  • Supported by professional legal counsel

Why You Should Pre-Qualify for a Home-Buying Loan

Pre-qualifying for your home loan before you start your search offers several advantages.

  • Determine your price range
  • Understand the kinds of loans available and which ones you qualify for
  • Know what your monthly payment will be
  • Estimate your down payment and closing costs

Helping You Find and Choose the Right Home

You and I will establish the criteria that are most important to you in buying a new home.

  • Location
  • Bedroom count
  • Bathroom count
  • School district
  • Amenities

I know this area extremely well. I will apply my local knowledge and professional resources to locate available properties so you can view the homes that best fit your expectations and requirements.

At the same time, you may browse the internet on your own and find a property that interests you. Just let me know and I’ll set up a showing.

I understand that as you view a range of properties, your criteria may change. Again, let me know what you’re thinking so we can work together for a successful search.

Putting Together an Effective Offer on the Home You Want

Once you locate the home you want to buy, I’ll apply my expertise and research skills in helping you structure an effective offer.

It’s at this point that my multiparty negotiating skills come into play. The seller has the option of accepting your offer, rejecting it outright, or counteroffering, and I will continue to negotiate the best possible terms in your favor.

Once the terms have been settled, I’ll draft the purchase agreement, advise you of protective contingencies, customary practices, and local regulations that may affect your purchase. Home warranty, title, and escrow arrangements will also be detailed.

Remember that, although I will give you my best advice and information, you have the final decision regarding the exact price and terms you wish to offer.

Managing the Escrow and Waiting for the Paperwork

Once your purchase agreement is accepted and signed by everyone involved, I’ll open escrow for you and deposit your earnest money. Escrow is the third party that receives, holds, and distributes funds in a property transaction.

In the meantime, I’ll be ensuring all contingencies are met.

  • Approval of the Seller’s Property Disclosure Statement
  • Approval of the preliminary title report
  • Property appraisal and loan approval
  • Property inspections
  • Pest inspections and certifications
